Kristen Elizabeth Unsicker, MD

I chose a career in medicine because I wanted my daily work to focus on caring for others. Helping children stay healthy and supporting their growth and development motivates me every day. I feel fortunate to build lasting relationships with families and be part of their child’s journey from infancy through adolescence. My goal is to provide care that helps children thrive and gives parents confidence and support along the way.

As a pediatrician, I strive to make the doctor’s office a welcoming and approachable place for children and families. I want visits to feel comfortable, and I work hard to help children feel at ease during their exams. I believe the best care comes from working together, so I partner with families to create care plans to fit the unique needs of each child. When you visit me, you can expect a provider who listens carefully and truly wants to hear your concerns, questions and thoughts about your child.

I am board certified in pediatrics. I earned my medical degree from Indiana University and completed my pediatric residency training at the University of Michigan. My clinical interests include primary care and preventive care, with a focus on helping children build healthy habits and reach important developmental milestones.

I enjoy caring for children of all ages and value the opportunity to support families through every stage of childhood. Whether it’s a routine checkup, a health concern or guidance on development, I’m committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling and cooking with my husband.
