Biography
“I do my job because I hope to make a difference in my community, and I am committed to being a sounding board and someone my patients can rely on. By combining my love of medicine and of teaching, my goal is to improve my patients' understanding of their conditions and to partner with them to improve their illnesses.”
Kristin Boddu is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She focuses on treating urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, sexually transmitted infections, rashes and general urgent care needs.
Boddu thrives in the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of urgent care. She enjoys staying up to date with procedural skills and treating acute conditions.
She received the Caring Heart Award 3 times from Duke Hospital Urgent Care where she was also named the #1 Provider for Likelihood to Recommend. She is the recipient of a DAISY Award for Exceptional Nurses from Children's Hospital of Alabama.
Boddu received her master’s degree in nursing at Samford University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at East Carolina University.
She loves spending time with her husband, Ravi, and their Biewer terrier dog, Vivienne Elise. Boddu enjoys cooking, shopping, traveling and visiting with family. Her favorite time of year is fall because she loves all things spooky, pumpkin spice and Alabama football.
