I do my job because I hope to make a difference in my community, and I’m committed to being a sounding board and someone my patients can rely on. By combining my love of medicine and of teaching, my goal is to improve my patients' understanding of their conditions and to partner with them to improve their illnesses.

I‘m a board-certified family nurse practitioner. I focus on treating urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, sexually transmitted infections, rashes and general urgent care needs.

I thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of urgent care. I enjoy staying up to date with procedural skills and treating acute conditions. Patients can expect a caring, supportive approach focused on helping them understand their condition and feel confident about their care.

I have been honored to receive the Caring Heart Award three times from Duke Hospital Urgent Care, where I was also named the No. 1 Provider for Likelihood to Recommend. I’m also the recipient of a DAISY Award for Exceptional Nurses from Children's Hospital of Alabama.

I received my master's degree in nursing at Samford University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at East Carolina University.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, Ravi, and our Biewer terrier, Vivienne Elise. I enjoy cooking, shopping, traveling and visiting with family. My favorite time of year is fall because I love all things spooky, pumpkin spice and Alabama football.
