Kristin Renee Williams, MD

“Being a doctor truly is a calling and a privilege. I am an advocate for each patient that I encounter and treat every patient the same way that I would like to be treated. Many times, patients come to the doctor’s office afraid and vulnerable. I take my time with each patient to make them feel as comfortable as possible.”

Dr. Williams is board certified in general surgery. She specializes in abscesses, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, colon cancer, cysts, diverticulitis, endoscopies, gallbladder disease, hemorrhoids, hernias and lipomas.

She was always told that ever since she could talk, she said she wanted to become a doctor. However, it wasn’t until she watched a family member suffer with lupus that she realized her desire to help cure those suffering with different diseases.

Dr. Williams received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. She enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, dancing and playing piano.
