Biography

Dr. Burger specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She has clinical interests in pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and minimally-invasive surgery.

“I chose to pursue female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery in order to specialize in a wide range of evidence-based therapies and minimally invasive surgical interventions.”

She values being able to treat patients who have a wide range of pelvic floor conditions that can be debilitating.

Dr. Burger received her medical degree at the University of Virginia and completed residency at The Ohio State University. She is a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (FPMRS) fellow at Atrium Health.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking with friends, family or her fiancé. She is a foodie who likes exploring the city for new and exciting restaurants. Dr. Burger is embarking on the journey to pet parenthood with a Bernese mountain dog puppy.
