“I value connection and service. My job allows me to use my clinical skills to help others through some of their most difficult or painful moments, while also making sure they feel heard, respected and cared for. For me, medicine is as much about kindness as it is about treatment.”
Landon Alston is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopedics and orthopedic surgery for conditions affecting the hips and knees.
As a student athlete, his injuries led to frequent visits with orthopedic specialists. The compassionate care and clear education he received sparked his interest in medicine and planted the seed for a future specialty. He finds great fulfillment by helping patients recover from injury, regain function and return to doing what they love.
Alston received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Mary Baldwin University.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 energetic Boston terriers. Alston is an avid fan who loves watching and playing sports, lifting weights and staying active in his church. He expresses his creative side through music, having been a member of the award-winning, all-male collegiate a cappella group, Exit 245.
