Laura Wang Boger, MD

I chose a career in family medicine because I love caring for the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest members, across all stages of life. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building long-term relationships and getting to know families as they grow and change over time. I’m passionate about health equity and helping people in my community live healthier lives.

Every day, I’m motivated by the connections I make with my patients and the opportunities to positively impact their health and well-being. My goal is to help patients and their families feel comfortable, supported and empowered to take an active role in their health.

My approach to care is patient-centered. I believe the best health care decisions are made through partnership and open communication. During each visit, I take time to listen, answer questions and discuss treatment options so we can create a plan together. Patients can expect my full attention during their appointment and a visit where they feel heard, respected and valued.

I am board certified in family medicine and have special clinical interests in:

• Women’s health
• Pediatrics
• LGBTQ+ health care
• Preventive care and wellness

I enjoy helping patients stay healthy with preventive care while also supporting them through acute and chronic health concerns. Caring for individuals and families throughout different phases of life allows me to provide personalized care that meets their unique needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and camping, practicing yoga and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Family is an important part of my life, and I enjoy making memories with my husband and our daughter.

Whether I am caring for patients in the clinic or spending time with loved ones, I value connection, communication and helping others thrive.
