Laura Quintana is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP). She focuses on cardiac critical care, adult and acute heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrests, ST-elevation myocardial infarctions and pulmonary embolisms.
Her prior experience as a bedside nurse in the medical cardiac intensive care unit inspired her to gain additional expertise and become a nurse practitioner.
Quintana received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Queens University of Charlotte and her master’s degree in nursing at the University of South Carolina.
She is originally from Colombia and is married with 3 children who keep the family busy with athletics, activities and traveling. Quintana’s hobbies include exercising, spending time with her family and reading romance and fantasy books.
