Biography

“Depression and anxiety are the most common and treatable disorders that people suffer from. With the right treatment, most people recover and live the lives they want. I love helping others find their joy and calm again.”

Zevan is a licensed psychotherapist and clinical social worker who specializes in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She treats adolescents who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, peer and family conflict, and gender dysphoria.

She is a trained trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapist. She has helped dozens of patients reduce their trauma symptoms, enabling them to live a fully functioning life. She has an eclectic approach when treating patients and uses concepts derived from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) and solution-focused therapy.

Zevan received her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She loves spending time with her young son and daughter, who are her world. She likes hiking, playing sports with her kids, spending time outside, working out and reading.
