Biography

I chose a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner because I want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. I’ve always enjoyed helping parents navigate the important stages of their child’s growth and development while promoting lifelong health and well-being.

Every day, I’m motivated by opportunities to help children recover from illness, solve medical challenges, and build lasting relationships with families.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing a child feel better and knowing I played a role in that journey. My goal is for every parent to feel confident that I care for their child with the same compassion, attention and dedication I’d want for my own child.

I believe the best care starts with listening. I want my patients and their families to feel seen, heard and supported at every visit. I take time to understand each family’s concerns and make sure all questions are answered. Parents know their child best, and I value their thoughts and perspective when discussing treatment options. By getting to know my patients and their families personally, I can provide care that’s tailored to individual needs and preferences. I will always strive to help your child feel better and will work alongside you every step of the way.

My educational journey began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. I am a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care for children.

My clinical interests include:

  • Childhood growth and development
  • Preventive care and wellness
  • Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses
  • Family-centered care and education

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making the most of everyday moments together. I am married, have one child and share our home with two dogs. In my free time, I love traveling, baking, gardening and participating in outdoor activities that allow me to appreciate nature. I’m also active in my church and involved in my son’s school, which helps me stay connected to the community I serve.

I look forward to getting to know your family and partnering with you to help your child thrive.
