Lauren Elise Kummer, NP

“I enjoy my work because I believe strongly in team collaboration and patient care. Our focus is always on what is best for the patient, and the best way to address this is through clear communication and strong support during the treatment and healing process.” 

Lauren Kummer is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (ACNPC-AG). Her focus is on the inpatient care of urologic patients, including pre- and post-op urologic oncology, trauma and endourology.

Her research interest is in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS).

Kummer received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Toledo.

Hiking, reading and traveling keep her busy away from work.
