Lauren Kummer is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP). She focuses on acute and hospital inpatient care for people with urologic diseases and disorders.
She chose her area of specialty practice because she realized many people will need urologic care at some point in life.
Kummer’s research interests include enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS).
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Toledo and completed her nurse practitioner training at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In her leisure time, she loves being outdoors, especially when she can embark on a hike.
