Dr. Leigh Baylor is board certified in family medicine. She provides primary, preventive and pediatric care as well as women's health and mental health care.
Drawn to family medicine during her training, she developed a desire to treat people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. She loves the diversity of her work, especially when fostering relationships with patients and building trust as an advocate for their health.
Dr. Baylor is the recipient of the 2025 Servant Leader Award from Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine.
She received her degree in osteopathic medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed the Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency program, where she served as chief resident.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and in-laws who live nearby. Dr. Baylor likes to unwind with exercise and reality TV. She especially loves brunch with her local girlfriends and keeping in touch with others who are far away.
