Muro is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology. She is the chief advanced practice provider (APP) at Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute Concord.
Muro wanted to work in medicine from the time she was a child and is fascinated by cardiology. She enjoys teaching patients and their families about their heart conditions and helping them overcome health challenges.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Holy Names University.
She and her 2 daughters spend much of their free time at the beach in the summer, looking for shells and critters and playing with their dog. They love to foster cats and kittens and often volunteer with the local humane society.
