“I have always been passionate about helping individuals with disabilities enhance their independence and quality of life. Supporting patients as they transition to life after a major injury is both a significant challenge and a profound opportunity, requiring a collaborative, team-based approach.”
Leo Phillips is a board-certified physician assistant. His clinical interests are in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries.
Phillips chose a career in physical medicine and rehabilitation so he could guide patients through this critical life adjustment and assist them in their journeys of self-discovery and regaining autonomy.
He received his master’s degree at Duke University.
Away from work, Phillips loves spending time with his husband indoor rock climbing, finding new walking trails and exploring restaurants.
