The pediatric patient population is amiable to shifting focus to the solution, rather than being entrenched in the problem. I find harmony and inspiration in children’s resilience to imbalance and disease.
I am board certified in pediatric medicine with a focus on preventive medicine.
I received my medical degree at The University of Texas at Houston and completed residency at Duke University.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. As a family, our favorite activity is going to the U.S. National Whitewater Center for biking, paddle boarding, flat-water kayaking, rock climbing and ice skating. My daughters keep me busy with activities that include skiing, cheer/dance and horseback riding. We have two Havanese dogs, and my nightly walk with them doubles as meditation.
