She was drawn to the specialty of cardiology more than 30 years ago because her family has been personally impacted by heart disease and heart failure.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of South Carolina and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
