Biography
“To care for women is to honor their strength, their stories and their futures. From guiding safe deliveries to supporting complex reproductive health journeys, I’m honored to advocate for and empower women through every stage of life.”
Dr. Lindsey Burleson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She focuses on high-risk pregnancies and full spectrum gynecological care, including family planning, abnormal bleeding, menopause and gender-affirming care. She is skilled in providing minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.
Her career choice was inspired by her desire to care for women in her community through every stage of life. She strives to blend medical expertise with the compassion and understanding of a friend.
Dr. Burleson has received the Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Resident Award from the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons, the SMFM Excellence in High Risk Pregnancy Award from the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Dr. Jennie L. Batson Award for Outstanding Clinical and Surgical Skills from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
She received her medical degree at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine and completed residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog, Maple. Her hobbies include baking, trips to farmer’s markets and basketball.
