Biography

“I am motivated to provide the best possible care for all patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies. I love to care for families during one of the most unique and important times of their lives. There is no greater joy than watching a family bring a new baby into the world.”

Dr. Temming is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and maternal fetal medicine. She is the medical director of Labor and Delivery at Atrium Health CMC Women's Institute and on the faculty of the Wake Forest School of Medicine and the UNC School of Medicine.

Dr. Temming is engaged throughout Atrium Health in advancing obstetric care through clinical protocols, research and quality improvement in labor and delivery. She is skilled in preterm birth prevention, infectious diseases, cervical insufficiencies, fetal loss, recurrent pregnancy losses, birth traumas, pregnancies after infertility, gestational diabetes, maternal hypertensive disorders, transgender pregnancy care and LGBTQIA+ pregnancy care.

She suffered multiple losses, infertility and a high-risk pregnancy on her journey to parenthood, and she is especially interested in supporting others along their journeys.
