Dr. Whitten is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
She has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine for multiple years.
She was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology because it provides an opportunity to care for women from adolescence through the menopausal years and to develop long-term patient relationships.
Dr. Whitten received her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
She is married to another OB/GYN doctor, and they have 2 sons and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
