She was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology because it provides an opportunity to care for women from adolescence through the menopausal years and to develop long-term patient relationships.
Dr. Bohmer received her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
She is married to another OB/GYN doctor, and they have 2 sons and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
