Dr. Rush is board certified in general and adolescent psychiatry. She has clinical interests in child and adolescent depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD).
Dr. Rush received her degree in osteopathic medicine at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency in psychiatry at Wake Forest University where she also completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and playing with her daughter. She enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures, being outdoors, especially at the beach, exercising and watching a play or ballet.
