Stamey is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in diabetes, heart disease, weight loss and health and wellness at Atrium Health Lincoln Family Practice. 

She is a Duke University honor graduate and a recipient of the Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina award. She completed the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship through Atrium Health in 2017. 

Stamey chose primary care services because she enjoys forming long-term relationships with patients and their families and feels this improves diagnoses and assists with coordination of care when specialists are needed.

She received her master's degree in nursing at Duke University. 

Stamey is married to her college sweetheart and they have 2 grown children. She enjoys spending time outdoors doing yard work, gardening, jeep riding, going for walks and to the beach. Family and faith are priorities in her life.
