Magd Abu Akel, MD

I am passionate about healing and improving the quality of life for my patients. As a board-certified internal medicine doctor, I treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions. These include sepsis, chest pain, infections, arrhythmias, diabetes and thyroid disease.

I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida and my medical degree at Saint James School of Medicine in Anguilla. I completed residency at Harnett Health, where I served as chief resident and was recognized as resident of the year.

In my leisure time, I love playing and watching soccer, especially the Premier League and my favorite club, Arsenal FC. I also enjoy the outdoors, fishing and video games.
