I feel my job is a calling. I was inspired to pursue a career in nursing by many mentors and role models. I originally became interested in women's health after a medical mission trip to Guatemala City, Guatemala, where we provided prenatal care. After that trip, I felt called to provide care for women locally. I was able to serve this community as a labor and delivery nurse prior to receiving my nurse practitioner and am grateful for all the deliveries I was able to witness during that time.
I’m a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) and previously worked in labor and delivery as an RN. I now provide care for a wider spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) patients.
I have been recognized with an Atrium Health DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. I received my master’s degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and my beloved rescue dog, Albert. I have completed a half marathon and hope to run other races in the future. My faith is a big part of my life, and I’m always happy to spend time with my church family.
