Biography

Dr. Mahmoud AbdelRazek is board certified in neurology. He specializes in treating autoimmune neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis (MS). He also has an interest in treating cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) disorders of the nervous system, including normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).
Dr. AbdelRazek served as clinical director of the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuro-Immunology Center and clinical director of Hospital Neurology at a distinguished Harvard University teaching hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. There, he was appointed assistant professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and lecturer of medicine at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has published over 30 research papers, and his work has been cited by over 300 research studies. He has been recognized as a Partner in MS Care by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), among other honors.
Dr. AbdelRazek received his medical degree at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed residency in neurology at the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by fellowships at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.
Outside of work, Dr. AbdelRazek enjoys playing soccer, tennis and spending time with his family.
