Biography
Dr. Squires is board certified in general surgery and surgical oncology. He specializes in colorectal, gastric and anal cancer. Dr. Squires also treats sarcomas, melanomas and neuroendocrine tumors. He performs cytoreductive surgery/HIPEC for peritoneal surface malignancies (surgery for cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen).
He serves as assistant professor of surgery at the Division of Surgical Oncology at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute. His research interests include colorectal cancer, sarcoma and peritoneal surface malignancies. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications to date
Dr. Squires received his medical degree and completed his residency at Emory University. He then completed his fellowship at The Ohio State University.
