Dr. Dy specializes in providing care for families, children and adults. He is especially interested in treating and preventing diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems and mental health issues. He also routinely performs minor dermatology procedures and joint injections. Dr. Dy serves as medical director at Atrium Health Primary Care Edison Square Family Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Dy grew up watching the rewarding, varied opportunities his father had as a family doctor in a small town. He felt inspired to follow in his footsteps and pursue the field of medicine that fuels his intellectual curiosity and provides a variety of ongoing challenges.
He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University and followed that with a residency at East Carolina University.
In his free time, Dr. Dy and his wife enjoy traveling, staying fit, and working on their house and garden.
