Dr. Akuneme is board certified in internal medicine.
He received his medical degree at the University of Nigeria and completed residency at Abington Memorial Hospital (now Jefferson Abington Hospital).
Dr. Akuneme is married with children. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, riding his bike, playing soccer and hiking.
