Margaret R. Moorhead, NP

“I want to help people achieve their health goals. Primary care is where we can really focus on overall wellness for the whole person.” 

Margaret Moorhead is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She focuses on internal medicine, especially disease prevention, health maintenance and chronic disease management.  

She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Richmond and a master's degree in nursing at The George Washington University. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, especially hiking and exploring parks and greenways. Moorhead is also a competitive skydiver who spends some weekends jumping out of airplanes or flying in wind tunnels.
