Margaret Moorhead is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She focuses on internal medicine, especially disease prevention, health maintenance and chronic disease management.
She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Richmond and a master's degree in nursing at The George Washington University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, especially hiking and exploring parks and greenways. Moorhead is also a competitive skydiver who spends some weekends jumping out of airplanes or flying in wind tunnels.
