Maria Victoria Miranda, CNM

I’m a certified nurse midwife specializing in obstetric and gynecologic care. I provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labor and birth, as well as routine gynecologic care, contraception and reproductive health services. I’m passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care and helping patients feel informed, heard and supported throughout their health care journey.

As a first-generation Latina and fluent Spanish speaker, I understand the importance of providing care that is respectful, inclusive and accessible. I strive to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their care. I’m especially passionate about supporting patients through pregnancy and birth while honoring each person’s individual preferences and goals.

I received my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my master’s degree of nursing with a specialization in nurse midwifery at Frontier Nursing University. Before becoming a certified nurse midwife, I worked for many years as a labor and delivery nurse caring for patients in high-risk obstetrics. This experience shaped my passion for supporting women and families through pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period and provided me with a strong foundation in both routine and complex obstetric care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, traveling, cooking, discovering new coffee shops and spending time with my family.
