Biography
“I’m committed to excellent quality of care with a personal, holistic approach. I enjoy using my knowledge to help patients take charge of their own healthcare.”
Traywick is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides general wellness health for newborns to adults. She is skilled in immunizations, women's health including implantable birth control, chronic disease management, acute illness, obesity management, mental health and minor office procedures, such as ear wax removal, ingrown toenails, moles, skin tags, warts, cysts, biopsies and elbow and knee joint injections.
She chose family practice because it allows her to treat a variety of conditions, partner with her patients and provide continuity of care for all members of a family.
Traywick received her master’s degree in nursing and her nurse practitioner training at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of work, she enjoys time spent with friends and family, including her husband, 2 adult children, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She loves repurposing old furniture, gardening, hiking, swimming, water sports and spending time at the lake.
Her true passion is riding motorcycles in the mountains with her husband and friends. They enjoy taking part in motorcycle rallies and local charity rides, such as Hometown Heroes and Toys 4 Tots.
