Fields is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice. She specializes in family medicine. Vidant Health recognized her with a Daisy Award nomination. She has also been an active participant in quality improvement projects for vasectomy success and colorectal screenings.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Winston-Salem State University and her doctorate at East Carolina University.
When she’s not working, Fields enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She is an avid reader and active volunteer in her community.
