Mary K. Gentry, MD

I feel called to help others. I believe every person has value and deserves kindness and respect. I thrive on helping patients achieve their health goals.

I’m board certified in family medicine and specialize in pediatric care and sports medicine. I’m the team physician for Northwest Cabarrus High School.

I love taking care of the whole family and building lasting relationships with families. I like the variety family medicine offers and appreciate the ability to care for many conditions.

I had a prolonged illness at age 6 and decided then that I wanted to be a doctor like the ones who cared for me.

I received my medical degree at East Carolina University and completed my residency at Cabarrus Family Medicine.

My husband, our three young boys and I love to spend time together hiking, camping, fishing and golfing. I enjoy the outdoors and all sports and am a University of North Carolina Tar Heels fan. I volunteer in the children's department of my local church.
