Dr. Shoraka is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). He treats people of all ages, from adolescence to post-menopause.
Dr. Shoraka chose OB/GYN because it provides him with a balance of surgery and medicine in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Most importantly, he feels it gives him the chance to provide lifelong patient care and establish long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Shoraka received his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh and completed residency at the University of Florida.
During residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Shoraka received awards for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology and Best Original Research Project. He was also recognized with the University of Florida Teaching Golden Apple and the Customer Service Key.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner. They love traveling and exploring the local food scene.
