Dr. Ward is board certified in radiation oncology. He specializes in head and neck, prostate and pediatric cancers.
Dr. Ward has received numerous awards, including the Roentgen Resident Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Travel Award. Additionally, he has won several Cleveland Clinic awards, including the Jerrold P. Saxton Award for Clinical Excellence, the House Staff Association Professional Development Grant and Travel Award and the Education Foundation "Excellence in Teaching" Award. He is also an Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America.
He is currently involved in clinical and cost-effective research. Dr. Ward has published over 40 manuscripts and is an editor for the textbook, "Essentials of Clinical Radiation Oncology," now in its second edition.
Dr. Ward received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and 4 kids. Dr. Ward also enjoys whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, traveling and being a part of his local church community.
