Goforth is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
He advanced his career from the bedside nursing role to the provider role so he could better care for his patients. As a nurse practitioner, he feels he can customize care for each patient that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Goforth won a Daisy Award from The Daisy Foundation, which recognizes excellence in nursing.
He received his master’s degree in nursing at Duke University.
He enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and 3 sons. Camping is a family favorite, and he also enjoys hunting and fishing.
