Dr. Meera Shah is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. She specializes in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology. She enjoys working in a specialty that is always forging ahead and finding ways to further therapeutic interventions for patients.
She has clinical interests in gastrointestinal problems, including eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, acid reflux, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and cyclic vomiting syndrome.
Her research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease and adolescent transition of care of chronic diseases.
Dr. Shah received her medical degree at Emory University, where she also completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology.
Outside of work, Dr. Shah enjoys working out, running, traveling with her husband, baking and unwinding with the latest Netflix show.
