“Being admitted to the hospital can be one of the scariest times for a family. I enjoy the dynamic of working with families and their children to make this time as comfortable as possible.”

Dr. Shah is board certified in general pediatrics. She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine.

She is the supervising physician of the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and the physician director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine for the Atrium Health APP Fellowship.

Dr. Shah believes that what children see and do in their early years shapes the rest of their lives, and as a doctor, anything she can do to improve their futures is rewarding.

She received her medical degree at Drexel University and completed residencies and a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.

When she’s not working, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She loves to read and try out different restaurants.
