Biography

Megan Fitzsimmons is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who focuses on primary care for children from birth to age 21. She provides comprehensive interventions for many types of acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
Her love of children motivated her career choice, and she is grateful to put her skills to work for the betterment of pediatric health care.
Fitzsimmons has been the recipient of a U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship. She has received a U.S. Air Force 59th MDOG Wing Nursing Award, a U.S. Air Force Lamplighter Award for Novice Nurse Practitioner and a West Coast University Clinical Faculty Award.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Saint Louis University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Texas Tech University.
Away from work, Fitzsimmons enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and 2 cats. She especially likes camping, dancing, cooking new recipes and reading. Her favorite books are fictional thrillers and medical dramas.
