Megan Jones is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner acute care (CPNP-AC) who focuses on trauma care for children.
In her previous role as a charge nurse for 5 years, she developed an affinity for trauma care. Because no case or day is ever the same as the one before, as a nurse practitioner she now finds purpose by providing hands-on care as part of a dynamic and responsive team.
Jones has been the recipient of an Atrium Health DAISY Team Award.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of South Carolina and her master’s degree at Emory University.
Outside of work, Jones stays active by working out and training for races and triathlons. She also teaches and coaches children’s swim lessons. She loves stopping for a treat at a local bakery when she’s not traveling with friends or exploring Charlotte with her dog, Leo. In quiet moments, Jones can be found reading a good book, preferably near a body of water.
