I’m board certified in pediatrics with a focus on neonatal-perinatal medicine (care of newborn babies). I discovered the world of neonatology as a medical student and was immediately drawn to it.
My research interests include growth and nutrition, particularly in infants with gastroschisis.
I received my undergraduate degree in chemistry with specialization in biochemistry at the University of Virginia and my degree in osteopathic medicine at Campbell University. I completed residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Emory University.
I enjoy spending my time away from work with my husband and son. We love to get outdoors, especially walking, biking and hiking. I am also an avid reader who has a flair for baking.
