Meghan Ferer is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on hematology-oncology (blood disorders and cancer).
She’s always been fascinated by the biology behind cancer and the advances that allow personalized treatment for each patient. The blend of cutting-edge medicine and meaningful relationships make oncology special to her.
Ferer received her bachelor’s degree in genetics at North Carolina State University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at East Carolina University.
Away from work, she loves spending time outdoors and staying active. She and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking and traveling, especially exploring new trails and mountain towns. Ferer unwinds by crocheting, attending pottery classes and reading, and she makes time for regular workouts to keep her mind and body balanced.
