In-person visits onlyAt some point in our lives, we will all face our own health challenges or will experience the health decline of our loved ones. My goal is to meet everyone I encounter with peace and understanding for their unique situation.
I am a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP). I focus on palliative medicine, and I strive to provide symptom relief from serious and potentially life-limiting illnesses to my patients. I also initiate goals-of-care conversations with patients and families.
Prior to my nursing career, I was a social worker serving as a sexual assault counselor, hospice medical social worker and mental health case manager. My roles in nursing included serving as a weekend on-call nurse, interim director of nursing and home-care nurse practitioner for Via Health Partners in Cleveland County. I also worked as an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse for 10 years at Atrium Health Cleveland.
I received my master’s degree in nursing at South University.
Away from work, I enjoy exercise, sporting events and spending time with my husband and 3 daughters. We love traveling, and our favorite destination is Seabrook Island, South Carolina.
