Biography
Each day, I’m motivated by the joy and resilience of children — their desire to play and explore never fails to make me smile — and by the opportunities to partner with parents in their child’s care. My goal is to empower families to take an active role in their health so children can live long, healthy and fulfilling lives.
As a pediatric nurse practitioner, caring for children and supporting their families allows me to make a meaningful, lasting impact on lifelong health and well-being. I’m passionate about helping families build strong foundations to prevent illness and disease whenever possible.
My practice integrates both physical and emotional health to support optimal outcomes for every child. My approach to care is centered on meaningful engagement with both the child and family to understand what matters most to them. Patients can expect my full attention, time and a collaborative relationship focused on individualized, compassionate care.
My training and clinical interests focus on:
- Nutrition and its role in preventing and contributing to disease
- Pediatric mental health and the effects of adverse childhood experiences
- Comprehensive, whole-child care
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while adapting to the evolving needs of children and families.
In addition to clinical practice, I serve as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students, helping to train and mentor the next generation of providers. I am also involved in medical research as a sub-investigator, contributing to advancements in pediatric care. These roles allow me to stay engaged in both education and innovation within my field.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, hiking, reading and traveling. I am married and have three children, and we share our home with a beloved dog. Whether exploring the outdoors or enjoying a meal, spending time together as a family keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of connection, balance and well-being in everyday life.
