Biography
“My aim is to help patients restore their quality of life by reaching goals that are important to them. I work closely with patients to provide comprehensive care that helps them improve functionally, reach their physical goals and get back to living the lives they want to live.”
Dr. Dove specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) and interventional pain medicine. He focuses on neck and back pain, epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation procedures and neuromodulation procedures, including spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation.
He became interested in anatomy, biomechanics and helping clients reach their physical goals during his earlier career as a sports performance personal trainer. His desire to provide comprehensive care motivated him to pursue the practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Dove received his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Miami, where he was chief resident. He completed a fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Virginia.
He is married and enjoys working out, golfing and smoking ribs, brisket and pulled pork. He is a die-hard fan of his hometown Chicago sports teams, and he also cheers for University of Miami football.
