I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner who focuses on urgent care and emergency medicine. Additionally, I’m an emergency medicine instructor for International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). My job experience as a paramedic and emergency room nurse motivated me to obtain further training and find my niche as a family nurse practitioner.
I received my master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I’m the mother of three children and have a grandson. In my free time, I am an avid pool player and take part in leagues and tournaments. I enjoy trivia and games with friends, karaoke and reading fantasy series books.
