Dr. Shannon is board certified in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
She received her medical degree at Marshall University. Dr. Shannon completed residency in adult psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Additionally, she received a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the University of Kentucky and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia/VCU.
Dr. Shannon and her husband enjoy traveling and keeping up with their 2 adult children.
