Biography
“My goal is to help patients live their best lives, and neurology is an ever-advancing field of medicine that can truly help our patients do that. I strive to stay at the forefront of our technological advancements so I can better serve people with neuroinflammatory diseases.”
Dr. Mohammad Abu-Rub is board certified in psychiatry and neurology and specializes in clinical neurophysiology. He treats conditions including multiple sclerosis, inflammation of nerves in the eye and spinal cord, inflammation of the brain and nerve disorders.
He received the Mark Platt, MD Award for the Graduating Resident from George Washington University and was an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He is currently researching novel biomarkers in neuroinflammatory disease so he can improve the quality of life for his patients.
He received his medical degree at Jordan University of Science and Technology. He completed residency in adult neurology and his fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at George Washington University.
Dr. Abu-Rub enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. They love exploring other cultures through food and horseback riding.
