Monica Nitin Modi, MD

“I wake up every morning looking forward to seeing patients, performing procedures and solving diagnostic puzzles. I value helping women determine their health goals and navigate the many changes they go through, from adolescence through menopause. I am so lucky to be involved in the delivery of a baby because it is a special day that changes a family's life forever. My goal is to provide my patients with the excellent health care I would want my mother and sister to receive."

Dr. Modi is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She specializes in breast diseases, colposcopies, contraception, cryosurgeries, endometriosis, evaluation of abnormal Paps, female pelvic health, fertility, high-risk pregnancies, hysteroscopies, incontinence, laparoscopies, loop electrosurgical excision procedures (LEEP), menopause, menstrual irregularities, multiples (twins and triplets), recurrent pregnancy loss, sexually transmitted diseases and wellness exams. During her career, she has delivered thousands of babies.

Dr. Modi also specializes in laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgeries for the treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Modi received her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University. She completed residencies in OB/GYN at Vanderbilt University and Wayne State University.

Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They like going to the zoo, amusement parks, beaches, national parks and art museums.
