Biography

I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to improve the health and well-being of children while also supporting the entire family. Caring for a child means caring for the people who love and support them every day. That belief continues to guide my work as a pediatrician. I want every family to know they have a physician who cares and is committed to helping their child achieve their best possible health.

I believe parents are their child’s best advocates. My role is to combine their knowledge of their child with my medical expertise to make thoughtful decisions together. I value shared decision-making and work closely with families to develop care plans that fit their goals and needs. Because every child and family is unique, I take a personalized approach to care and strive to create a welcoming environment where questions and concerns are always encouraged.

I am board certified in general pediatrics and hold a master’s degree in health services research. My clinical and research interests focus on improving care for children through strengthening primary care services. I also have a special interest in caring for children with developmental and behavioral disabilities. I enjoy helping families navigate challenges, celebrate milestones and access the resources they need to support their child’s growth and development.

In addition to patient care, I am actively involved in research focused on improving health outcomes for children. My work has been supported through grant funding and has led to publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. These experiences help me stay current on emerging evidence and bring research-informed approaches into everyday pediatric care.

When families come to see me, they can expect a partnership built on trust, communication and respect as I listen to understand each child’s unique situation. My goal is for families to leave each visit feeling heard, informed and confident about the next steps in their child’s care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring art, music and theater in the city. These interests help me stay connected to my community and bring balance to my life.

I look forward to partnering with your family and supporting your child’s health and well-being at every stage of growth.
