Dr. Mrinalini Joshi is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and internal medicine. She specializes in treating chronic, life-limiting illnesses.
During her residency training, she encountered a patient whose journey from diagnosis to hospice inspired Dr. Joshi to choose her specialty. She especially values the holistic approach she can bring to her practice.
Dr. Joshi received her medical degree at Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India, followed by a Master of Public Health (MPH) in epidemiology at the University of Iowa. She completed the Cedar Rapids Family Medicine Residency Program and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
She enjoys spending her time away from work with her children and friends. Her hobbies include hiking around the Lake Norman and Charlotte region, watching movies and TV and reading, especially thrillers and novels.
