Dr. Ahmad is board certified in neurology. He has clinical interests in electromyography (a procedure to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them), nerve conduction studies and chemodenervation (an injection to block nerve signals using botulinum neurotoxin).
Dr. Ahmad enjoys being in a field where there is so much progress being made in treating previously untreatable diseases and figuring out where symptoms are coming from in the nervous system.
He received his medical degree at the University of Miami and completed residency at the University of Massachusetts. He completed a fellowship at Wake Forest University.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his 3 children, playing golf and gardening.
